South Florida wedding photographer Churchill’s Photography recently posted about this amazing anniversary photo shoot that she organized in the Casa Grandview area of West Palm Beach, Florida. Her post was just full of wonderful West Palm Beach pictures with the happy couple. Everything from lush tropical landscapes, to pool side shots, to pictures in front of a beautiful street mosaic.
But the thing we love most about this session is how the team was creative as they spent their day together- just going with the flow and eventually finding themselves in Casa Grandview even though that wasn’t part of the original plan. We think it was a great choice, and the pictures tell it all:
“This shoot did not go as planned…and that was great. Originally when we were talking to our good friends Robert and Jenny about doing their one-year anniversary shoot (we did their wedding in June of ’09) we discussed hitting up an area around Worth Ave. in Palm Beach. Great location, great everything, no problem.”

To my utter delight, they chose to throw aside tradition and rent a gorgeous home for their wedding weekend. This ‘home’ (castle) is named ‘Ski Esta.’ It’s located minutes from Sunday River in Newry Maine.”
“You know what they say- pictures are worth a 1,000 words so why don’t I just cut to the chase: Yep. This place is at the top of a mountain and during the fall season it overlooks a sea of reds, yellows and oranges. Ski Esta is truly a picturesque venue for an autumn wedding weekend. I know I had a blast and I’m pretty sure the photos will reflect that I wasn’t the only one…”
