Don’t let the sophisticated photos from this fine art wedding photographer in Orange County, California fool you! Daniel Cruz is full of personality and truly has love for others! In addition to being left handed and loving sushi, Daniel used to play in a hardcore rock band, and is a huge soccer fan!

What inspired our charismatic friend to choose wedding photography? He shares more with us here:

“Everything I’ve been through has been a precursor to me pursuing photography, and attempting to add beauty to the world.”

During school Daniel had aspirations to become a surgeon, engineer, and even a pilot in the Air Force.  However, none of these options gave him the sense of belonging he was seeking. Eventually Daniel reached a breaking point and he decided to go after his dreams and add beauty to the world.

Another factor in his breaking point was his father.  After 25 years of hard work and dedication, Daniel’s father got laid off. Seeing his Dad, the strongest person he knew, struggle to sleep, Daniel then made the decision to take control of his own destiny and work for himself.  He thanks God for getting him through hard times like these and giving him the strength to continue.

    “I have learned a bit about myself in doing this interview, and that is that struggle influences/inspires me.”
