Many photographers already have websites but they often are not optimized for either SEO or lead capture. Your SnapKnot profile functions as a mini-site for your business, allowing couples a new avenue to find your business and contact you directly. SnapKnot also provides you with the Lead Match System, which gives you access to any newly engaged couple in your area whose criteria matches yours and requests photographers to contact them.
SnapKnot’s main goal is to match engaged couples with their perfect wedding photographer. We provide a system that allows couples to find you via active onsite search as well as our LMS system that lets you reach out to interested couples. This combination of active and passive lead generation is a powerful one for your business.
DOES SNAPKNOT HAVE A SCREENING OR APPLICATION PROCESS FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS?
No. We believe in giving all wedding photographers an opportunity to display their work and credentials. This approach empowers couples to select the photographer that best meets their needs. All photographers have a chance to grow their business and gain experience, and couples are able to choose a photographer who best suits their needs.
WHY IS SNAPKNOT BETTER THAN OTHER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SITES OUT THERE?
It is extremely easy for vendor listings to get lost in the shuffle on these sites. They tend to be very expensive and involve long-term commitment, and it is not easy for couples to compare the quality and style of your work to other wedding photographers in your area. CAN I LIST IN MORE THAN ONE CITY?
Sure! Pro members can list in up to 5 cities and Elite level members can list in up to 10 total cities. Starter members can list in just one city.
I’M NOT STRICTLY A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. IS THAT OKAY?
Of course! We accommodate full time wedding professionals as well as part-time photographers. We welcome everyone as long as wedding photography is part of your service offering.
HOW WILL POTENTIAL CLIENTS FIND ME ON SNAPKNOT?
Couples can find you on SnapKnot by onsite search as well as by requesting photographers like yourself who match their location and budget criteria to contact them directly with booking information.
HOW DO COUPLES KNOW ABOUT SNAPKNOT?
Tens of thousands find the snapknot.com website each month via a number of channels, including online search, online advertising, partnerships, social media, the SnapKnot mobile app, media placements, and more.
DOES SNAPKNOT TAKE A COMMISSION OR BOOKING FEE?
Absolutely not. Your booking revenue is yours. We are not involved in the booking transaction between you and a couple and there are no related fees.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE AN ELITE OR PRO LEVEL MEMBERSHIP OVER THE STARTER PLAN?
Elite and Pro level memberships have several significant advantages over the Starter level.
Search: Elite level members are guaranteed to show up on the first page of search results within 20 miles of their Primary city. This provides them with enormous visibility.
For searches more than 20 miles outside of Elite-member Primary cities, Elite and Pros are equally mixed with random ordering, but always above Starter profiles, every time someone does a new search.
Starter level members appear last in search results, so for a given search your visibility will be much, much higher at the Elite or Pro level. Results depend on a couple’s criteria, but for the average budget search in most major cities, Elite and Pro level members have a big advantage.
Listing Size: Elite and Pro members have much larger listings in search results, providing more of an opportunity to stand out to couples.
List in Multiple Cities: Elite and Pro members can list in up to 10 or 5 cities, respectively. This gives a large exposure advantage over Starter level members who can list in just 1 city.
Promotional Opportunities: Elite and Pro level members enjoy certain promotional advantages over Starter level members, including publishing opportunities on the SnapKnot Blog, social media mentions in the SnapKnot network, and media spots with partners like Nordstrom Wedding Suite.
Guarantees: We also offer membership guarantees for both Elite and Pro level members.
Elite level members have the ability to respond to requests from bridal leads exclusively for 72 hours. This means that those members have the absolute first access to bridal leads that match them. Pro members also have 72 hours after the Elite period has finished. As a Starter member there is essentially a 6-day delay between the time a bride requests a lead and when you are able to access it. Elite and Pro level members need to take action and claim their bridal leads as fast as possible because they tend to get claimed very quickly.
HOW DOES THE LEAD MATCH SYSTEM WORK?
Couples can request to be matched with wedding photographers by entering their location, budget range, and the maximum number of photographers they want to contact them. Photographers who match those criteria are alerted and have the opportunity to send a message to the couple and try to book them as a new client. Read more LMS FAQ’s here .
HOW DO I CHANGE OR SUSPEND MY ACCOUNT?
SnapKnot members can upgrade, downgrade or suspend their accounts at any time. Simply log into your account, click on the “account details” tab, and click the “suspend account” link if you’d like to suspend your account. If you want to upgrade or downgrade your membership click on account details>subscription details then choose the plan you’d like to change to.
It is your responsibility to manage your individual account. Requests to suspend by phone, email, or other means will not be considered actual cancellations. Each user must suspend his or her account themselves if they wish to. Keep in mind, when you suspend your account your profile and any links associated with your profile will no longer be active and couples cannot send messages to you any longer through the SnapKnot system.
CAN I GET A REFUND IF I SUSPEND MY ACCOUNT?
If you are on a free trial and suspend before your membership renews at the normal rate, then you do not have to pay anything. If you are on a paid plan, we do not offer refunds or partial refunds for unused or unwanted subscription time. Subscriptions are paid in advance every 30 days for the following 30 days. When you suspend your plan your profile will become inactive at the end of your current billing cycle so that you will not receive any unwanted charges.
WHAT IF I SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT AND WOULD LIKE TO REACTIVATE MY PROFILE ON SNAPKNOT?
You can come back to SnapKnot at anytime! Simply login and click one of the reactivate buttons on your dashboard. All of your past profile information will be stored and you can edit easily.
