About Katrina Wheeler Photography
I'm Katrina the photographer behind the company. I document stories and moments for a living. I crave the emotional, super affectionate couple who just loves being in love! My ideal bride and groom would probably be a mix or one of these things: Vintage, Classic, Country, Modern, Romantic, Quirky, Different, Unique, FUN!! I love having fun w/ my clients! My goal is to make everyone feel very comfortable and to help them have an AMAZING wedding!
My style? It comes from my heart, the romance, creativity, and the moment! I love using natural elements that surround us to tell the story better. For example, I take my couples to places they've dated for their engagement shoot, or places they've been together as a couple.
There are some things that make up a picture that I crave to have every time I shoot:
- Tight detail shots of my couples, the more intimate shot the better!
- LOTS OF SUN! I love it when the sun just kisses all over the picture, has some round sunflare circles, that golden look! Gorgeous!
- As for location, my favorite place to photograph in is FIELDS! Any kind of fields, flower fields, grassy fields, dead grass fields, LOVE THEM! Then I love streets and cityscapes. I also love Barns and Country scenes!
You see, the prior california girl in me is turning into a real country girl out here in GA, but as soon as I hit the ground in L.A or San Diego, I am back to my California roots, THE BEACH + Sunset!! But, I'll take a field at sunset in the south, when I'm not in CA!

- I do travel all over the U.S. for weddings. If its in California then I travel there for FREE!
- I include Engagement Sessions with EVERY wedding I photograph! It is just how I do things :) I love to truly capture your whole story!
- I have three packages that are fully unlimited, no hourly rate, 2 photographers, engagements and a custom website designed for you and your fiance!
