Hey! My name is Levi. I'm a graphic designer and photographer from the better part of the Midwest, with more of an emphasis on "Mid" than "west." I grew up in Chicago but relocated to Minneapolis to finish my university work.
I've been doing graphic design since I was 14 and photography since I was about 18. I've always been fascinated by electronic and digital art. My first design gigs were designing T-shirts and websites for bands and eventually I realized that I had become more passionate about photos and stories than I was about graphic design and digital art.The biggest reason I love photography is because it's a way of storytelling. I'm all about stories, hearing stories, reading stories and even reading stories about stories. The fact that my job consists of story-telling through images is one of the coolest things I can imagine.
I work primarily out of Klaipeda, Denver, and Minneapolis/St.Paul. Secondly, I work out of DC, Pennsylvania, and Southern California. In fact, I shoot pretty much anywhere that I can. But still, mostly out of Denver and Minneapolis. I've been a traveler my entire life so for me, traveling to your shoot, be it wedding, family event, or engagement, is kind of like just doing what I've always done. After growing up near Chicago, I've now lived in five major cities across three different countries. For me, traveling is one of the best parts of my job.
I would love to take part in your wedding or engagement; and I think it would be rad to hang out with you or your family to get some pictures in! I'm passionate about photography, I have a crazy sense of wanderlust, and I believe deeply in God. I speak two languages and am working on two more simultaneously. I love stories and old things. I also love old stories, like the Epic of Gilgamesh and other stuff like that. I like a bunch of weird stuff like Assyriology and Philology. I'm crazy about my girlfriend, Hillary. I'm into details. And most likely when you're reading this I'll be listening to Death Cab for Cutie or Mumford and Sons.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you! You can connect with me either via phone, e-mail, skype, message in a balloon, morse code, or straight up snail mail!
