WHAT COUPLES ARE SAYING

"My fiance and I were in the market for a photographer for our upcoming wedding, and we turned to SnapKnot. We had a few friends who were avid photographers, but we did not want our friends to work during the wedding. With the help of SnapKnot, we provided some basic requirements, including our wedding date, the wedding location, and our budget. Instantly, we started receiving offers from a wide variety of photographers who were competing to earn our business. The entire process was simple and quick."

A wedding day is perhaps the most important and special day in a couple's life, and naturally they want the day to be a memorable one.  For those engaged couples who decide to tie the knot in San Francisco, it's a sure bet they will leave their hearts there once they are married at one of the many romantic venues the city offers.  One of America's truly unique cities in which to get married, the unique location offers San Francisco wedding photographers many chances to get the perfect wedding shot that will provide a lifetime of memories for any couple. Below is a small selection of some of our favorite locations for SF Bay Area wedding and engagement photos:

Swedenborgian Church

For engaged couples who desire a traditional church wedding, there's no better place in San Francisco than the Swedenborgian Church.  Located on Lyon Street at Washington, it has a capacity for up to 120 guests and is the only church in the city to be considered a National Historic Landmark.  A rustic chapel with natural tree trunk beams and a wood-burning fireplace couples pass by on the way to the altar, it's a great setting for San Francisco wedding photographers to capture the simplicity and elegance of a small, intimate wedding ceremony.

Farallon Restaurant

While getting married at a restaurant may not sound romantic to many couples, perhaps they haven't experienced the sights and sounds of the Farallon.  Located at 450 Post Street, it's known for great seafood and an even greater ambience.  Huge murals depicting undersea life and other wonderful visions give one opportunity after another for San Francisco wedding photographers to capture the spirit of the occasion as well as the incredible detail found in the building.  If booked for a wedding, the Farallon will do a total buy-out for up to 250 guests, making it easy for those couples who want to invite everyone they know to their big day.  As an added bonus, the building also houses the Kensington Park Hotel, which offers newlyweds the Royal Suite with such amenities as living and dining space, whirlpool bath, and two fireplaces

Maritime Museum

This art deco building was built in 1939 to resemble an ocean liner, and it offers stunning views of San Francisco Bay as well as various bridges, the city and the iconic Ghirardelli Square sign.  The building is known for hosting many different styles of weddings including Film Noir, Contemporary hip, and even Sea-themed weddings.
Located at 900 Beach Street, the Maritime Museum has a guest capacity ranging from 175-750 depending upon seating arrangements. The Maritime Museum is a beautiful setting that the best San Francisco wedding photographers love for capturing a couples special day.

When it comes to a wedding day, every detail has to be just right.  For couples getting married in any of these unique venues, San Francisco wedding photographers will have an unlimited number of shots and backdrops to capture the overwhelming joy as new couples begin their lives together.
