Having an engagement session that showcases something important in your life is very special which is why we love these engagement photos on the family farm that were taken of Sarah and Clinton by Carrie with Carrie Turner Photography.
Clinton had such a fun way of proposing to Sarah on Christmas morning and Carrie did a great job showcasing little aspects of the proposal throughout the photos. These little details in the photos will continue to be a wonderful reminder to Sarah and Clinton to how their wonderful life began.
Here is what Carrie has to say about the engagement photo session:
“Sarah and Clinton’s engagement session was so special because it took place on their family farm in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where Sarah’s family has lived for generations. It was also where she and Clinton got engaged and where they are starting their life together. We incorporated special aspects of their relationship – like their custom-designed engagement ring and their sweet dog – as well as important details of their engagement story. They were engaged on Christmas morning, when Clinton surprised Sarah with a poem instructing her to follow a single strand of blue yarn from their porch, through a hole in a special tree on their property, through their vineyard, to the porch of the cabin Sarah’s grandfather built. There she found Clinton waiting with her beautiful engagement ring. Sarah plans to knit the blue yarn into a garland to grace their Christmas tree every year. Exploring their farm together on a warm spring evening was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement and prepare for their mountain wedding this summer.”
