Our photographers have captured many precious moments in their lifetimes, and in honor of Father’s Day, we want to share all of the best father of the bride and groom photos in our community’s collection. We already published half of our favorites (you can check them out here), and are excited to release the rest!
Make sure to note the special captions and stories that accompany many of the photos- some are sweet, and a few are inspiring, but all of them are perfectly touching.
(Above) “When it comes to father’s moments, one of my favorite is watching the father of the bride’s reaction when he sees his little girl for the first time. Maria’s father is a big Italian guy, and I didn’t expect to see a lot of emotion out of him. What a spectacular reaction, though, as he watched Maria walk down the steps of their family home on her wedding day!”
(Below) “This adorable little girl (nicknamed Jelly) played two roles on wedding day: flower girl and daughter of the couple. She fell asleep in the limo ride over to the church, and missed the entire ceremony, a fact I’m sure her parents’ won’t let her forget. Just after the ceremony, she posed for a few photographs with her dad.”
“A touching moment between the bride and her father as he prepares to give his little girl away, he is on the verge of tears. This specific bride had a private reveal to her father before the ceremony.”
“This father was determined to get the getaway car ready for the happy couple.”
(Above) I just love the way Joe is looking at his daughter with so much love in her eyes, and the confidence in Jennifer’s face makes you realize she was raised by great parents!
(Below) John and Kate have one amazing father/daughter relationship. They were laughing and joking all morning and they almost brought me to tears with their ADORABLE high five at the alter after he gave her away. So cute!
“The look on dad’s face as he’s about to walk his baby girl down the aisle.”
“Shannon’s father was in a motorcycle accident about a week before her wedding, and wasn’t able to attend. Her brother took over their dad’s duties of walking her down the aisle, but they found a humorous way to have her dad there as well!”
(Above and below) “They did a choreographed father daughter dance to “My Girl,” which is pretty much the most adorable thing ever.”
(Above and below) “The minute the DJ announced that it was time for the father/daughter dance, Co could not hold back her tears. She told me from the beginning that she was a daddy’s girl, and I loved being able to see their beautiful relationship throughout such a special day.”
“My favorite of all the fathers photos, the loving father takes his daughter’s hand to hold in his, symbolic of his reminder to her that he will always being there for her.”
“This beautiful bride had lost her own father, but loved her soon to be father-in-law as her own. As any father would, he came to dote on his new daughter before she walked down the isle to marry his son. I captured this sweet moment as she pinned on his boutonniere. The overwhelming expression of love in his eyes speaks volumes to the amazing relationship this lovely woman will have for years to come with her new family.”
“A tear slides down dad’s cheek as he danced with his daughter.”
