Wedding rings and fabulous signage are just a few of the details that give weddings their lovely, yet “girly” rep. But although she may be the Belle of the Ball, there is more to the event than it’s beautiful bride and her carefully designed decor. Like what? you ask. (We agree, half the fun of weddings are their creative themes and gorgeous details.) Like the man she is about to marry, though, that’s what! Soon-to-be husbands can have just as much fun choosing their unique style, and giving THEIR twist on what their special day means to them. So we set out to find the best groom photos from our wedding photography community in 2012.
Behold more than just awesome boutonnieres and feast your eyes on some of the most dashing men and groom photos that we hope will inspire those who have yet to walk down the aisle. (Their best accessory in our opinion? Their smiles.)
“Prital and his bride Meaghan fused their two cultures into one amazing wedding at the Sunset Room in the National Harbor. Prital chose to wear a suit and incorporate his Indian culture into other aspects of the wedding. The pair are from California, but joined their families back east for the celebration. Instead of riding a horse or elephant to the ceremony, he arrived by boat onto the dock where they exchanged vows.”

“Ray Gade stuck out as one of our Dashing Grooms this year because of his welcoming and warming smile. Aside from being a great gentleman all day he pulled off the bright blues in his tie and socks with confidence all day. The whole day he rocked a great smile in every photo.”

Below: “Jesse got to come home from his post for a bit to get married… Then it was back to the army.”
