Illustrator, Designer, and Photographer: Davis Willis

Dreams really do come true, just ask one of the newest editions to SnapKnot’s list of Glassboro, New Jersey photographers, Davis Willis, whom creates non-traditional wedding photos.  Ever since Willis was a young boy he had a passion for art.

“I could remember competing with my older brother drawing dinosaurs and marvel comic characters.  I’m not sure who won, but I was so impressed by this talent I wanted to get better in it.”

And that is exactly what he did.  Willis studied art in high school at a technical trade school and then earned his bachelors degree in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1984.

Turning his passion into a career Willis published his first illustrated book in 2005 titled “The People of Lost Heritage”.  With persistence Willis went on to illustrate “Shypoodle”, a children’s book by Deborah Stalling-Patton, which lead into a soon to be published sequel, “Shypoodle II”!

The first two books are available via the following links:

Illustrations are not the only talent that Willis has.  He added the job title of photographer to his name in 2004, joining his brother in creating Willis Action Video and Photography.  Willis uses a photojournalistic style with unique, non-traditional poses to capture each couple’s personality and loves the “almost instant gratification” that he gets from his clients.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to work with this incredible photographer and download the gift certificate below!  Don’t wait, it is redeemable through November 2012!
