Julie Pepin: Intimate Wedding Photos Made out of Love, General Jubilation, and Good Vibes

Meet Julie Pepin, one of the most recent additions to our list of Los Angeles wedding photographers. Raw, organic, and intimate wedding photos are just a few of the ways Julie describes her photography style. Above all else, she wants to create photos that make you feel.

Tell us a bit about yourself. There are a lot of things I don’t have to do on a daily basis, but taking photos isn’t one of them. to be able to make this my work pretty much makes me feel like the luckiest person on the planet. The photos that I create are made out of love, general jubilation & good vibes. Above all else, I want to make photos that you can feel. Inspiration comes from my first home, detroit. My adopted home, Los Angeles. Hot & humid weather that you can feel all around you. Bright colors. Hot concrete at dusk. Postcards on the fridge. Animals. Movie trailers that make me cry. Music that makes me want to dance. Grey skies. Lonely palm trees. Coconut water. Sparkly things. Watching people. Taking photos of you.

Why did you choose to become a photographer? I’ve always ALWAYS taken photos so it wasn’t really a choice that i made. it just happened.
