Tell us a bit about yourself.

As a buisness, I’m a California Wedding and Portrait Photographer based out of Corona & Temecula.  That’s a bit boring though, so, we’ll go a bit more personal.  I’m a mother of 3 and wife a fireman, a homeowner, a dog owner/lover, a great friend, and a fan of eating, drinking and being merry!

Why did you choose to become a photographer?

My mom!  She has always had a “nice” camera and taught me some basics and helped me to develop an “eye”.  In high school I took a serious interest in photographing People. I found expressions, personalities and emotions the MOST interesting thing to capture in ONE frame.

How long have you been a photographer?

My whole life???? …. but as a business, 5 years.  I like to think that the photographer in me has been around since I was born.

How would you classify your style of photography?

Like many photographers, I tend to throw around the word “photojournalism” because I like to tell a story with my images, but more than that I think the better word is “lifeographer”.  I love to capture people with the BEST emotions of life.  For families, this is the endless love for your kids and the playful nature of toddlers.  For Weddings, its the love and joy and happiness of a wedding day.  For seniors, its the bad a$ style that every teenager wants to portray.

Who or what are some of your influences on either a personal or professional level?

Similar to the my way of classifying my photography, I think that life is my influence.  I watch my kids and think of fun new ways to capture children.   I go or watch to weddings and embrace the romance.  I do the everyday events that make life and it inspires me. (…and pinterest too)

What’s your preferred type of camera equipment?

CANON all the way!

What would you recommend for a couple just starting their search for a wedding photographer?

Please remember to “like” your photographer.  Beyond the images, and beyond the packages and pricing, you will spend TONS of time with you photographer on your wedding day.  It would be best to get along with him or her and enjoy their company.  Pick someone you trust and someone who will put your mind at ease.
